The Railway Modellers Meet of BC was held this past weekend (May 27-29, 2022) and it was what I would consider a rousing success.  In addition to the on line clinic lineup and layout tours <here>, we had operating sessions,  in person layout tours, "Meet My Layout", model displays and "Meet the Modeller".  We also had group discussions based on era and prototype and Table Top Clinics.

"Meet My Layout", Table Top Clinics and the group discussions were new additions and overall were well received by attendees and may well feature in future meets.  I presented a table top clinic on weathering using oils and acrylics.  I spent more time talking than actually modelling, but that is kind of the point.

There were quite a few models on display with a variety of scales including O, TT, HO and N.  You can see all  the models on the RMMBC website <here>.  There is also a Flickr page with all the photos as well.  We'll be holding the 2023 RMMBC back at Simon Fraser University for a return to a fully in person meet.

It was great to finally be able to get back together and share our enjoyment of the hobby.  I met a few new people and learned a lot.
